First log in to the Dreamspark portal:

Your username should be your full UW email address in the format of:

<your UW NetID>@uw.edu

Your password was set when your account was created. If you have forgotten your password, we cannot change it for you but you can have the system send it to you by clicking the reminder link. Your password will be sent to your UW email address and then you can change it to whatever you like.

Choose the software you want to download. You may purchase CDs and DVDs and have them shipped to your home but this option is limited to certain titles.

 

Then press the Add to cart button, and then print out the page called “Order Details”

Then press the Download button, saving the downloader to your desktop or some place that is easy to remember and locate.

After you have successfully download the downloader, run the downloader.

Then start the downloading the actual software by pressing “continue”.

Double clicking the downloaded files will unpack the software to the show a familiar file directory. You don’t have to save the downloaded software once it has been installed, but it is an option if you might need them later.

Once the download has been completed, click the button to launch the installer which will open the directory that contains the files.

Then double click on setup, and install the program.
