The iSchool uses a JAMF Software Server (JSS) to manage all the Apple iMacs, MacBooks and mobile devices in our environment. The JSS allows us to offer software that has been configured for the iSchool environment, printers, etc.

If you have a Mac that was issued by iSchool IT but never enrolled and you want to take advantage of iSchool software, here is how to enroll your device.

  • Browse to the following URL.

https://is-jss.ischool.uw.edu:8443/enroll/

  • Enter the username ienroll and the password iSchoolEnroll like so.

JSS Enroll Web Page

  • When you are prompted to assign the device to a user, enter your UW NetID
  • Download and install QuickAdd.pkg

If the QuickAdd package is installed successfully, you will see a Self Service app in /Applications. This is what you launch to install iSchool software.
