How to remotely connect to your iSchool issued Mac computer
The iSchool IT department recommends that you use the Chrome Remote Desktop app to connect to your Mac work computer. There are directions for setting up and using the Chrome Remote Desktop app on this page:

After installing and configuring Chrome Remote Desktop app on your Mac, in order to remotely connect to it, your Mac must be:
a) powered on
b) not asleep
c) connected to the Internet
Configure your Mac to not fall asleep:
1) click the top-left Apple icon, click System Preferences…, click Energy Saver
2) for Energy Saver options, use the following settings:
check the box for Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off
uncheck the box for Put hard disks to sleep when possible
uncheck the box for Enable Power Nap
close System Preferences
On macOS Sierra (10.12), the “Computer Sleep” slider should be set to never.
