Every now and then a job will fail in Camtasia Relay. Depending on where the final product was to be published, a failed job can make continuous attempt to authenticate to an external server making it appear as if Relay is attacking the external server. To stop this repetitive behavior:

  1. Login to the Camtasia Relay server with an administrator account. The url for login is https://camtasia.ischool.uw.edu/Relay
  2. After you have logged in you will see a dashboard that will indicate the status of the server. From this page move your mouse over the “Presentations” menu item and select the “Job Status” option
  3. Failed jobs will show up in the list with a red dot next to them. Click on a job to expand it.
  4. You should now see an option to resubmit or delete the job. Click “Delete” and wait a few seconds for the system to process.
  5. Continue deleting jobs until all failed jobs are gone.
