With UW’s adoption of Microsoft Office 365, one of the tools available to you, is the 1 terabyte cloud storage of OneDrive for Business. To setup your OneDrive for Business account:

Log into the UW Office 365 web portal.

Pay very close attention to the username the prompts are asking for. If you see a screen like this:

enter your username as

After your first ever successful log in to the UW Office 365 web page, you may see a message stating that setup is almost complete:

After this one-time initial setup is complete, at anytime, you can log into the UW Office 365 web page to access files in your OneDrive for Business account:


OneDrive for Business also allows for functionality like syncing files with your local computer and sharing files/folders with others.

There are certain file types that cannot be stored in a OneDrive for Business folder/library.
