iSchool Equipment Checkouts

The iSchool has an equipment checkout program which allows iSchool students, staff, and faculty to check out certain pieces of hardware for academic purposes and projects.  For a list of the equipment available and to make an online hardware reservation, please login to the iSchool Resource Checkout System.

Reserved items may be picked up from the iSchool IT Office in MGH 470 and require the presentation of a valid photo I.D. card.  Items should be returned where they were picked up on or before the checkout reservation return deadline to avoid facing potential late penalties.

Classroom Technology and Events

Students: Classroom Technology and Events (CTE) has a Student Technology Funded (STF) equipment checkout program which is available to all UW students.  The CTE STF system includes checkouts for certain hardware items not available at the iSchool, such as general use laptops and scanners.

Faculty/Staff: CTE provides equipment for free if it is being used by an instructor for their in-class teaching of regularly scheduled, state supported, credit-generating classes.  Equipment used for research projects, seminars, and conferences require payment.  The equipment rates are listed on the website
