There are a handful of Dell 1720 printers used by staff members.

If whatever issue you are having remains after basic troubleshooting, (turning power off/on, making sure all cables are connected, making sure all drawers/parts are securely connected, loaded with paper) these steps have worked in the past to fix some issues:

a. open front tray door (not the paper tray)
b. hold down Cancel button until all lights start flashing
c. release Cancel button
d. close tray door
